Even though we were pretty young, we were savvy enough to buy the best we could find! The fabric is wearing like iron. I am finally getting tired of them. The cushion is boxy with piping on both the top and bottom. I am interested in doing it myself but am intimidated by the box cushion. I have made box cushions before so who knows why I feel this way...but it would be terrific to keep the cash for larger purchases! These chairs look great.PinkGrannyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13396185972224985608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4321728438148487646.post-51703634237134525982013-03-24T11:18:13.811-04:002013-03-24T11:18:13.811-04:00I just cut a 2 inch strip of the fabric. Then I used my zipper foot to cover it and stapled the strip under the edge. Just pay attention to the way the chair comes apart, take pictures if you have to, and put it back the same way. Good luck!amyrdhhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13455619704722918703noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4321728438148487646.post-14925249851698014202013-03-24T11:17:35.517-04:002013-03-24T11:17:35.517-04:00Great job! When he sees these pics, I'm hoping he will agree they look great and I can do the same.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4321728438148487646.post-53265672991492065422013-03-24T10:41:03.231-04:002013-03-24T10:41:03.231-04:00Great Job! Did you sew it to the seat cushion before stapling?Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00934520412742387153noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4321728438148487646.post-60620063233202703032013-03-24T10:26:33.016-04:002013-03-24T10:26:33.016-04:00Now that is a friend! Now that is a friend!Denise Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09384785194978114337noreply@blogger.com
